On 2/9/09, I began my quest to supply you with sample ebook covers that are both FREE and LOOK GOOD. That was Volume 1 with a set of 9 to choose from. that is Volume 2, with another set of 9.
Over date, I’ll create more sets. Each set will include samples - meaning, you should add your own text to them - and possibly even some additional graphics (photos of a person, money, etc). But the starting sample image will be nice looking - and a lot better than any free sample I’ve ever been able to find. Because they are free, they only come in one size and one format - PNG. In other words, what you see below is what you get.
If you find these useful, please link to that post so that others can take advantage of them as well. whether you want some really professional looking covers made, thereupon you should definitely either hire a professional to create custom ebook covers for you or purchase a software tool to design your own. Oh and whether you’re already a graphics pro and own Photoshop CS3, you can download a free Photoshop action script to turn your 2D design into a 3D cover here. But whether you just want decent looking samples to edit and customize without costing you a dime, one of these might be just what you need. Right-click one you like below, choose Save As and enjoy.
